Jonathan is in first grade now!

wow how time flys...can't believe Jonathan is already beginning the first grade at Norton Elementary! He was so excited to be starting school again...and of course mom had to walk him to class the first day to make sure he was ok. It was harder on mom than Jonathan..but not as hard as Kindergarten! Savannah keeps asking when she gets to go to school just like Jonathan...don't rush it!

Summer 2009

Jonathan is done with Kindergarten..wow it's hard to believe! The year just flew by and he did very well adjusting in his first year at school. He will be in Summer Camp at O2b and is looking forward to all of the fun field trips.
Savannah has been at O2b Kids since January and loves it. She is now going to be taking ballet and gymnastics classes there as well.
They are growing up so fast and getting so big! I never realized how busy I would be by now with the two of them but am enjoying it as much as I possibly can and wouldn't trade it for the world!

Flag Football-Spring 2009

Jonathan has really enjoyed his very first season of flag football and meeting new friends, along with more time with friends he already had. The season was a challenging one...but worked out well in the end. The most important part was they had fun! Here are a few pics with his team..except Chance wasn't there for photos.

Time for Flag Football!

This year we thought we'd try the NFL flag football league at the YMCA. Jonathan was very excited to join in on another sport. His good friend Chance is playing on the same team with him. So far we've only had one game..which we won ;-) Here's a picture of Jonathan the day of his first game.

Britney Spears

I (Julie) won 2 tickets on the radio to see Britney Spears in Tampa on March 8th, 2009. Jaimi and I made the trip together and had a fabulous time! It was a LONG night but so worth it! Britney put on a great show...and so did the Pussycat Dolls. Here are a few pictures from the fun night...

Savannah is 3!!

Hard to believe our little girl is 3 already!! wow! We had several parties this year for Savannah. One at O2b Kids with her friends, one at the mall with our friends, and then one at home with our family. We all had a great time celebrating! Savannah is getting so big and is talking non-stop!! She loves her dolls especially, lip gloss and being "a big girl".

Time for Change

The day finally came for Savannah to start preschool at O2B Kids, just like her big brother. January 5th, 2009 was her first day! She was all excited to be "a big girl" and going to a new place with new friends. Everything was great until she realized mommy was actually leaving her there instead of staying, which has always been the case over the last 4 years while Jonathan has been there, who is now in afterschool.
She is adjusting, although it will take time since she was with Angie for over 2 years (we miss you!). Needless to say, she is exhausted and ready for bed much earlier than before.
I'm hoping the crying when I leave will get better soon..that's the worst part. However, she seems to stop as soon as I walk out the door.
She is happy when I go to pick her up, having fun and playing, yet when she sees me, she begins to cry. Wish us luck!

Wow, hard to believe another year is gone...how quickly it went! Here's to a wonderful 2009! God bless everyone and hopefully the year will bring many great things!
